Summary

The Account Executive is responsible for both closing new customer business and expanding existing accounts in their assigned territory. The ideal is a highly motivated individual who is able to effectively sell across a variety of industries and customer profiles in both transactional and consultative sales cycles. Required skills:
Strong prospecting, qualifying, and closing skills
Excellent negotiation and communication skills both in person and virtually
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong phone presence
Proven track record in SaaS sales with a history of exceeding revenue goals
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Detailed-oriented, well-organized, punctual, and must be able to keep up-to-date records on accounts and opportunities in Salesforce
The high level of activity requires the individual to balance a range of responsibilities including outbound calling as well as territory and account support activities.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Become a Fulcrum product expert including the product's technical workings and practical business application
  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers and work closely with them to assure their success with the software. Develop strong relationships with customers to protect ongoing revenue stream and identify/recommend upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Close new customers and manage them through the implementation process to ensure they successfully adopt Fulcrum’s Service
  • Drive regular account reviews with customers and provide strategies to optimize return.
  • Work closely with internal departments such as Customer Success, to provide services required to meet customer expectations
  • Maintain a positive interactive working relationship with Product Management and Product Engineering to resolve issues and to communicate customer needs for future product enhancements
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate sales forecast on a weekly cadence
