Grassroots Carbon is looking for an Account Executive to help Fortune 1000 companies achieve their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and carbon net-zero goals. You will be focused on landing new clients by developing relationships with corporate sustainability leaders, mapping out their decision-making processes, and matching Grassroots Carbon solutions to their ESG strategies.

The ideal candidate has a demonstrated track record of success in enterprise sales and strong interest in climate tech.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

  • Contribute to and be responsible for revenue growth and achieving quarterly booking goals
  • Build relationships with prospects in order to methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales funnel and pipeline
  • Collaborate across the team as well as external partners and customers.
  • Research, identify, and generate new business opportunities in other to build and manage a sales funnel and pipeline
  • Build sales strategy and tactics for business development and revenue growth
  • Maintain a high volume of activity including outbound calls, emails, responding to RFPs & social selling
  • Skillfully deliver web based presentations using inside sales best practices

Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ year of experience in Enterprise Sales and a track record of achieving targets in a lead-generation role
  • Experience running the full sales cycle, from the demonstration pitch to closing of business
  • Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to build and deliver presentations to your customers
  • A love for working in a fast-pace environment and taking the initiative to get stuff done and try something new
  • A commitment to working in a collaborative environment, working together as a team
  • A passion for all things data
  • A Passion for climate change solutions, including the carbon credit market


WORK LOCATION & TRAVEL:

Location in San Antonio preferred.

As needed for team meetings at the headquarters in San Antonio or additional support at conferences, client visits
