Founded more than a century ago, Holton-Arms School encourages young women in grades 3-12 to approach the world with a thirst for challenge, unflinching curiosity, and a sense of responsibility to use what they learn for the greatest good. Holton-Arms seeks a new Academic Dean to begin the role in July 2023. The Academic Dean serves as the chief curricular leader for the School, reports to the Head of School, and works in close partnership with the Division Directors, Program Leaders, and the Director of Diversity, Wellbeing, and Global Education.The person in this role supports faculty as they prepare Holton-Arms students to be agents of change and citizens of the world who strive to “learn well, live well, and lead well.” The Academic Dean will also be ready to lead in concert with Holton’s institutional priorities of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging; health and wellbeing; and global education.
