Job Responsibilities:
- Perform all maintenance and repairs on aircraft for which the technician is assigned and qualified.
- Approves aircraft for return to service after scheduled or unscheduled maintenance for which he is authorized and qualified. Mechanic must have proper training and a minimum of 6-month experience in the last 24 months.
- Keeps own work areas clean. Returns all equipment and tools checked out at the end of the work shift and repositioned in assigned area.
- Reports all inoperative or faulty equipment to the maintenance Supervisor in charge.
- Performs duties delegated by the Director of Maintenance or designee if qualified.
- Completes all required paperwork for maintenance that is performed in accordance with Sky One Holdings GMM instructions.
- Ensures that hangar workshops, and other areas assigned are maintained in an orderly manner.
- Assists the Director of Maintenance in maintaining technical manuals in a current status.
- Maintains an adequate tool kit.
Job Skills & Qualifications
- FAA A&P Certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate aviation
- Knowledge and experience with aircraft technical manuals
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
