Senior Project Manager
Denver, CO

Salary: $105,000 - $115,000 + bonus and full time benefits

Position Summary:
The Senior Project Manager will lead complex projects across different business units. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. You will work with cross-functional project teams, communicate with stakeholders and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

To be successful in this role, you will need proven experience in project and change management, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to solve problems and manage risks.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder expectations
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, issues and performance metrics
  • Provide guidance, feedback and coaching to project team members
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with employees and partners
  • Plan and execute multiple projects across different business units, following best practices and standards
  • Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality and change requests
  • Facilitate regular project meetings with project team members
  • Resolve conflicts, problems and challenges that arise during the project lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and YES policies and procedures
Skills:
  • Project management: The ability to plan, execute, monitor and control projects of different sizes and scopes
  • Program management: The ability to oversee multiple interrelated projects and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
  • Communication: The ability to convey information clearly and effectively to various audiences, such as team members, clients, stakeholders, and senior management
  • Change Management: mitigate or remove project variability by preparing, equipping, and supporting employees, so they can engage, adopt, and use the new change successfully.
  • Leadership: The ability to inspire, motivate and guide others towards a common goal
  • Organization: The ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, delegate responsibilities and keep track of deadlines
  • Negotiation: The ability to reach mutually beneficial agreements with different parties, such as vendors, suppliers and contractors
  • Team management: The ability to recruit, train, coach, and evaluate team members
  • Time management: The ability to manage your own time and help others manage theirs efficiently
  • Risk management: The ability to identify, assess and mitigate potential threats or uncertainties that may affect the project outcome
  • Problem-solving: The ability to analyze situations, find solutions and implement them effectively
Education and Additional Experience:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/education
  • 5+ years of project and change management experience.
  • Experience with matrixed reporting structures
