Progress Unlimited Inc., a residential provider located in Owings Mills, MD is seeking a highly skilled, motivated and experienced Direct Support Professional caregivers to provide supervision and support to developmentally and intellectually disabled adults. .

Direct Support Professional: Job Requirements

• Proven experience working with individuals with ID who present with behavioral challenges
• Minimum two years of care giving experience
• Valid Maryland Driver's License and a car (reimbursed monthly for car usage)
• Flexible, patient and able to remain calm in stressful situations
• Excellent judgment

Direct Support Professional: Responsibilities

• Provide support with behavior management, personal care, housekeeping, meal preparation and accessing the community for frequent and varied activities. This position requires flexibility as you will be required to work all day on Holidays and Days when the Day Program is Closed. Mandatory Monthly Meetings.
• Work as a team with all staff
• Typical Schedule is MONDAY - FRIDAY 230p-1030p but shopping days vary.
