MIDDLE SCHOOL / HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER - AGRICULTURE TEACHER
2022-2023 School Year
Assignments and Locations: Grades 6 - 12 Craig County High School
The Craig County School Board in Virginia is now accepting applications for a high school teaching position (Agriculture Education) that will be available within our division for the 2022-2023 school year.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License with the appropriate endorsement to teach agriculture at the high school level.
- Have experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Have experience and expertise in using technology in education
- Have experience or working familiarity with Google Drive for instruction, collaboration, and coursework
- Have effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families
- Demonstrate the ability to be dependable and punctual
- Demonstrate the ability to work and collaborate with a team of other teachers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Eligibility and experience with dual enrollment
Salary: 2022 - 2023 Teacher salary scale with benefits
FLSA: Exempt
